The Porch Room is excited to announce it will produce its first ever audiobook: In It Together by JoEllen Notte, out in March from Thornapple Press. The audiobook will be recorded by J. Michael DeAngelis and read by its author.

JoEllen Notte is a certified sex educator, writer, speaker, sexuality researcher, and mental health advocate. She is the author of The Monster Under the Bed: Sex, Depression, and the Conversations We Aren’t Having and blogs at The Redhead Bedhead. Her work has been published by the BBC, Glamour, Bitch Media, xoJane, and Kinkly.

The Porch Room has been in the audio creation space since 2019 with the launch of its podcast, Mission: Rejected. Audiobook recordist J. Michael DeAngelis has also directed the podcasts Things (Un)Said, Oz-9, and CS Radio – The Official Podcast of University of Pennsylvania Career Services. This will be his first audiobook.
