A Porch Room Halloween

We’re thrilled to once again team up with Circle Players Theater, who we worked with on An Evening on the Porch and (the soon-to-be-published!) Accidents Happen. This time round, we’re providing two all new one act plays, especially written for their annual Halloween fundraiser!

Both new pieces are written by our resident master of the macbre, Pete Barry. First up will be All in the Head, directed by John, an imagined look at the formative boarding school years of the adolescent Edgar Allan Poe. Featured in the cast are all three Porch Room staples – Michael, Pete and John, alongside Tyler J. Abelson. The second piece, Agoraphobia, directed by Pete, tells the story of two friends attempt to deal with the aftermath of one’s encounter with a nightclub vampire. Michael and John star as the two friends, with fangtastic support from Faith Agnew Dowgin (Friday night only) and Katie McGillick (Saturday).

Along side The Porch Room shows, Circle Players’ own Gordon Weiner will debut his The Seer on East Seventh.

Performances are Friday, 10/22 and Saturday, 10/23 at 8pm. Tickets are just $10 and include admission to both the show and the Halloween themed party that follows each night!
