The Porch Room Set for the Pittsburgh Fringe!

The Porch Room is proud to be a part of the 2014 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival, as “Ghost of Make-Believe” by Pete Barry is presented as part of an evening of shorts about Pittsburgh, collectively performed under the title Hell With The Lid Taken Off.

“Ghost of Make-Believe” focuses on that most famous of Pittsburgh icons – Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.  A cable network wants to buy the exclusive rights to Fred Rogers’ creations and move them from PBS to commercial television.  But before they can sign on the dotted line, a very important person raises an objection….someone from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Hell With The Lid Taken Off is being produced by Thoreau, NM: A Production Company.  The Pittsburgh Fringe will run May 2-4 & May 9-11, 2014.  Venue and box office information will be announced shortly.   Visit The Pittsburgh Fringe Festival for more information.
