Samantha Apfel (Cleopatra/Katharine) is thrilled to take on the role of Cleopatra in her New York Fringe Festival debut. She previously originated the role of Iras in last year’s Philadelphia premiere of Infinite Lives. Other stage credits include Mary Tilford in Lilian Hellman’s The Children’s Hour (2013) and Hermia in the Underground Shakespeare Company’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2012). She will next be seen performing in their version of Taming of the Shrew this fall. Samantha is entering her junior year at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies English and Classical Studies.
