“Zebulon Calling” Plays LA SciFi Fest!

Attention LA Porch Room fans!

John P. Dowgin’s one-act Zebulon Calling has been selected for performance as part of the third annual “Sci-Fest LA” Science Fiction One-Act Play Festival.

The festival offers two rotating evenings of professionally produced 15-minute sci-fi plays by up-and-coming writers, as well as world premiere stage adaptations based on the works of such authors as Neil Gaiman, Ursula Le Guin, Clive Barker, and Ray Bradbury. Plays are directed by Los Angeles-based theatre professionals and feature many well-known actors from franchises such as “Star Trek,” “The X-Files,” “The Walking Dead,” “Supernatural,” “Lost,” “Grimm,” “Heroes,” “Fringe,” “The Hunger Games,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “True Blood.”

If you’re in town, the festival runs from May 6th to 29th at The Acme Theater.  Zebulon Calling plays a part of Sci-Fest LA!! It’s on their “One Acts Program B” schedule, with performances April 30 (preview), May 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 26, 27, 28.
